Returning for 2nd year. Multi-day, multi-stage international cycling event.

June 12 - Sept. 27 The Charlottetown Festival (Charlottetown)
World class musical theatre featuring Anne of Green Gables - The Musical and other popular productions.

June 15 - August 31 Avonlea Village Fair
(Cavendish)
Join characters from the story “Anne of Green Gables” for an old fashioned country fair in Cavendish in 1908. Enjoy sack races, egg toss, pie-eating contest, pig races, manure toss and our mens’ 1908 swimwear competiton. Lots of fun for the whole family!

June 20 - 22 St. Louis Bluegrass & Oldtime Music Campout
(St. Louis)

June 24 - August 30 The Montgomery Theatre
(Cavendish)
New professional repertory theatre showcasing plays for the whole family whose authors were influenced by L.M. Montgomery or who influenced her writing. 2008 season features: Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Graham; Village Wooing by George Bernard Shaw; and the Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde.

The plays are performed Tuesday through Sunday evenings with matinees on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. The theatre is the old Long River Church at Avonlea Village.

June 24 - Sept. 28 Anne & Gilbert - the musical
(Summerside Jubilee Theatre)
The highly rated musical depicting the romance between Anne Shirley and Gilbert Blythe. A great experience for the whole family.

June 27 - 29 Summerside Highland Gathering

Celebration of Highland arts of piping, dancing, drumming and all things Scottish.

P.E.I.’s “best little theatre”, celebrating 27 years of professional theatre musicals and storeytelling. Various performances throughout the season.

The Ross family performs a high energy show featuring Island fiddle music, step dancing, original and traditional songs and stories in English and French. A true, down-to-earth Prince Edward Island musical experience. 5 minutes west of Cavendish. Show for all ages.

July 1 Canada Day in North Rustico

An old time community festival with picnics, a parade and fireworks. The North Shore’s best family party.

July 3 - August 28 Fiery, Faith & Fiddles

The “Sky” family performs high energy Celtic Music. Come and see their production of “Fiery, Faith & Fiddles”.

July 3 - 6 Anne of Green Gables Country Fair
(Cavendish- Avonlea Village)
Step inside the world of “Anne” and join us at the Country Fair. Enjoy colourful booths, vintage parade, Green Gables garden party, campfire, music, picnic, old fashioned games and races, Island kitchen party, lively barn dance, historical re-enactments, theatre, writing workshops, special guests and much more. Ice Cream and Raspberry Cordial in plentiful supply!

July 4 - 6 Annual PEI Bluegrass & Old time Music Festival

Bluegrass and old time bands from USA, Maritimes and PEI

July 6 - 12 Summerside Lobster Carnival
(Summerside)
Carnival Days featuring street sales, stage entertainment, lobster suppers, talent shows, harness racing, children’s entertainment, a parade and much more.

July 11 - 13 Canada’s Seashore Festival
(Cavendish)
Canada’s Seashore Festival in Cavendish showcases the best in sand sculpting talent with competitions among master sculptors. Cavendish and North Shore communities come to life with musical entertainment, children’s theatre, shellfish tasting, fishing excursions, bicycle tours and much more!

July 24 - 26 Crapaud Exhibition

Exhibition of livestock, 4H displays, cattle shows, entertainment, concert and a parade.

July 25 & 26 Emerald Junction Summerfest
(Emerald)
Great community event with concert, ceilidhs, dances and the famous Junk Yard Wars.

July 25 - August 5 St. Peter’s Wild Blueberry Festival
(St. Peter’s)
Join the celebrations in beautiful St. Peter’s including guided nature walks, golf tournament, concerts, parade, blueberry pancake brunch, surf and turf barbeque and fireworks.

July 30 - August 3 Tyne Valley Oyster Festival
(Tyne Valley)
44th year. A must see festival including Canadian Oyster shucking and grading Championships, PEI Moosehead trivia competition, parade, and oyster/scallop dinners.

July 31 - August 2 Prince County Exhibition
Strongmen competition, judging of livestock, flowers, crafts and much more. Horse pull and horse racing.

August 9 Prince County Fiddlers Concert
(Kensington)
Fiddle music and step dancing from PEI featuring solo and group performances in Scottish, Irish and Acadian traditions.

August 15 Gold Cup Parade
(Charlottetown)
Street parade in PEI’s capital city with 50 floats, bands and helium balloons.

August 15 - 20 Kensington Community Harvest Festival
(Kensington)
Come and celebrate with our community. Street parade, pageants, contests, food sampling and demonstrations. Fun for everyone!

August 17 The Great Big Cornboil
(Cavendish)
Taste fresh Island corn on the cob, dipped in butter and sprinkled with salt. Mmmm......Celebrate the 1st harvest of PEI’s delicious corn and enjoy a full afternoon of free PEI entertainment. All proceeds are donated to the L.M. Montgomery Land Trust.

August 19 - 21 PEI International Shellfish Festival
(Charlottetown)
Celebration of our awesome Island shellfish. Entertainment tent, oyster shucking competitions and lots & lots of seafood.

August 20 Island Chocolates Company Chocolate Festival
(Victoria)
For all chocolate lovers! Come and celebrate our 20th Anniversary with a Chocolate Festival: chocolate tasting, best brownie contest, movies, chocolate themed meals at Victoria Village and the Landmark Café.
